Position: Plant Health Care Technician.

We are looking for a skilled Plant Health Care Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who understands plant health, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in doing precise, responsible work in the field.

• Perform scheduled plant health care treatments for trees and shrubs.
• Diagnose insects, diseases, and environmental stress issues.
• Apply pesticides, fertilizers, and soil amendments safely and accurately.
• Maintain detailed treatment and service records.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers.
• Maintain and care for PHC equipment and vehicles.
• Follow all state regulations, label requirements, and company safety standards.

• Valid chauffeur's license.
• Valid Michigan Pesticide Applicator License with:
  • Core.
  • Category 3A – Turfgrass.
  • Category 3B – Ornamental.
• Strong knowledge of tree and shrub pests, diseases, and treatments.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily route.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Professional appearance and customer-first mindset.

• Category 7F - Mosquito.
• Prior PHC or landscape-related experience.
• Experience with IPM programs and diagnostic work.
