Job Overview

Position:
Sales Associate (Brick Specialist) at LEGO® Brand Retail, Hillsdale Shopping Centre, San Mateo, CA. Part‑time.

We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic individuals to deliver inspirational retail experiences.

• Greet every guest, perform all cash register functions, and portray a professional, gracious, friendly and engaging manner at all times (80%).
• Provide a clean, safe, and visually stimulating environment by performing daily cleaning duties, maintaining store displays and learning and delivering LEGO® Brand Retail visual standards (10%).
• Safely and efficiently operate the store stockroom: assist in receiving merchandise, maintain the stockroom to LEGO® Brand Retail standards, abide by all safety regulations, and notify management of potential shortage situations (10%).
• Deliver inspirational retail experiences built on LEGO® Brand values.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
• Process information/merchandise through the register system.
• Work various hours, days, nights and weekends as business decides.
• Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock areas, register areas, and loading dock area.

• Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours.
• MAY occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Lifting at least 30 lbs.

• Availability for up to 25 hours per week, including at least one weekend day.
• Availability must span at least three days. Being scheduled for 25 hours is not required.

• No specific qualifications listed; ability to provide customer service, maintain cleanliness, operate register, and manage stockroom is required.

The hourly wage is $19.70 to $20.50 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.
