We're opening a brand-new store in Fall 2026 in Plymouth, MI.

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to be a key player in our dynamic team? We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join Meijer as a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that inventory is accurately received and processed.

• Unload and verify incoming shipments, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
• Document and record inventory accurately.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any receiving-related issues.
• Handle and process returns according to company policy.

Must be 18 years of age.

Full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Current or past experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Warehouse Associate, Inventory Specialist, Shipping & Receiving Clerk is a plus.

When you join us as a Food Clerk, you will provide customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. You will play a vital role in keeping our store running smoothly and having a positive impact on the community we serve.

• Build rapport with customers.
• Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
• Respond to customer questions effectively.
• Stock product and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.
• Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for customers.
• Applicable to the following departments:
  Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Grocery.

• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
• Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
• Problem solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
• Process-driven with ability to follow procedures efficiently.
• Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to work with customers consistently.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
