Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for members by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise. Responsibilities include helping members with bakery orders and maintaining the freshest products available.

• Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicate with members, and adapt to business needs.
• Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs, operating baking equipment, following recipes, applying makeup instructions, wrapping, labeling, storing items, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory management, maintaining and sanitizing equipment, and demonstrating product understanding.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology for production decisions, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality while keeping the member in mind.
• Maintain operational excellence: keep work area clean, secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
• Act as a talent ambassador by valuing the member’s experience, modeling high quality service and products, executing the basics at the highest level, and exhibiting energy and commitment.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; use the Open Door Policy and apply these in business processes.
• Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; recommend improvements; and adapt to change.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
