Account Executive Team Position

Coordinates the entire order process from point of purchase through shipment. Works closely with customer base, territory manager and sales manager in communicating lead times, quotes and market information. Responsible for specific geographic area and customer base within that area. Resolves sales/customer issues when Sales Manager is not available.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Serves as customer contact for all Order Management:

  • Builds and maintains customer relationship.
  • Initiates production cycle by receiving and entering orders for production.
  • Reviews pricing & product for accuracy.
  • Works with the sales manager to meet or exceed company metrics.
  • Coordinates & schedules daily shipping schedule and the filling of partial truckloads while working with shipping coordinator.
  • Advises customer of ship dates and times, schedules daily truck schedule with accurate delivery dates, follow up to assure on time delivery.

Serves as customer contact for all Quote Management:

  • Enters quotes with pricing guidelines.
  • Faxes or emails quotes to customers and sales reps, follow up on current quotes.
  • Tracks and follows up on quotes.

Establish a means of regular contact with customers and record market information:

  • Establishes regular calling patterns to customer base & logs significant discussions in CRM.
  • Communicates pertinent information to territory managers and plant management.

Other

Responsibilities Include:

  • Attends morning shipping update meeting.
  • Dispatches literature requests.
  • Resolves sales adjustments (credits), coordinates returns/pick ups, logs necessary incident utilizing CRMs.
  • Maintains and updates customer contact information.
  • Attends regularly scheduled sales training meetings.
  • Assists other reps with duties when needed.
  • Limited travel to assigned territory.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Assists Sales Manager with departmental responsibilities when Sales Manager is not available.
