Job Description

ALS, a family-owned third‑party logistics company, is seeking an Account Manager to maintain and expand relationships with existing clients and identify growth opportunities.

Start Date: January 6th.

Potential Year 1 Earnings:

  • Base Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 depending on experience.
  • Commission: $5,000 - $9,000 +
  • Bonuses: $6,000
  • Earning Range: $51,000 - $60,000

Potential Year 2 Earnings:

  • Base Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 depending on experience.
  • Commission: $15,000 - $27,000 +
  • Bonuses: $6,000
  • Earning Range: $61,000 - $78,000

Your Role:

  • Prospecting companies seeking enhanced logistics partner experiences.
  • Qualifying ALS services that best help our customers.
  • Communicating with existing ALS customer accounts and solving business‑critical operations.
  • Acting as a valued service provider and the customer voice within ALS.
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities in day‑to‑day operations.
  • Acquiring customers via high‑volume cold calling, email prospecting, social networking, referrals, and other outreach. We assist in providing leads.
  • Providing quotes and negotiating rates with customers.
  • Communicating thoroughly and proactively throughout the shipment process.

Requirements:

  • Prior sales or account management experience, preferably in logistics or transportation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Results‑driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in prospecting and lead generation is preferred.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to changing environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, logistics, or related field preferred.
