Position OverviewSecurity plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and secure environment for our students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This position requires a responsible, observant, and respectful individual who understands the importance of creating a protective atmosphere that aligns with the values of a faith‑based, all‑female educational setting.

- Monitor entrances, exits, and general school grounds to ensure campus security.
- Greet and assist students, staff, and visitors in a professional and respectful manner.
- Enforce school safety procedures, including visitor check‑ins and .
- Conduct regular walkthrough security checks of buildings, hallways, parking lots, and perimeter.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to safety concerns, emergencies, or incidents.
- Collaborate with administration and staff during drills, evacuations, or lockdowns.
- Ensure and maintain all security drills and procedures up to code.
- Write clear, concise reports on incidents or unusual activities.
- Research grant opportunities for security purposes and share findings with Administration.
- Build and maintain community partnership with local law enforcement.
- Run faculty and staff safety education seminars.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the school’s mission and Catholic values.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in school security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional at all times.
- Ability to work with adolescents in a respectful and supportive manner.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Capability to patrol indoor and outdoor areas in various weather conditions.
- No fraternizing of any kind.
- Attending various school events, as requested by principal or president.
- Background check and fingerprint clearance required.
