Urgent Hiring: Matthai Material Handling & Vitan Equipment is seeking an experienced Forklift Technician / Field Service Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair heavy‑duty material handling equipment. If you have experience in forklift, diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment repair, this field‑based role offers the perfect change of pace to utilize your diagnostic expertise across complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• $1,500 Sign‑on bonus
• $23hr to $34hr based on experience and certifications
• Take‑home service truck (Company vehicle + fuel card provided)
• No nights and weekends

• Commission opportunities for service work and upselling parts/equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems directly at customer locations
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to keep local businesses running
• Hit the road across your assigned territory—no getting stuck in the same shop every day
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards
• Log your service work accurately via mobile dispatch and communicate updates clearly

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience repairing forklifts, heavy equipment, diesel trucks, or auto mechanics looking to transition to heavy equipment
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety‑first mindset on the job
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record to operate the company service truck
