Multi-Craft Maintenance Electrician

The maintenance electrician will be responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair throughout the facility. This person will monitor, repair, and adjust/edit various manufacturing equipment and systems including hydraulic thermoforming presses, ovens, robotic waterjets, 3 phase motors, and Siemens PLCs & HMIs. This is a true multi-craft industrial maintenance role that will consist of mechanical, electrical, and controls work.

Will be responsible for plugging into a laptop and troubleshooting programs and drives as well. PLC programming not required but a plus. This facility manufactures sound deadening interior parts for the automotive industry and is fast paced.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

This is a fully on-site position in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Our client manufactures interior sound deadening material for the Automotive Industry. They have an extremely fast-paced and deadline-sensitive culture, typical of the automotive sector. Their plant is close to 300,000 sq. ft. They are currently working 50 hours a week and expect to work most Saturdays until fully staffed. Some Sundays will also be worked, with double time pay. 2nd shift opening: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Monday-Friday.

3rd shift opening: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Monday-Friday.
