Driver - Brownstown Township, MI

Holman Powertrain is hiring a Driver in Brownstown Township, Michigan. Starting pay: $22 per hour. Shift: Monday – Friday, starting at 6:00a.m.

• Be medically certified by a DOT medical examiner for fitness.
• Hold a valid Chauffeur License.
• Drive a truck delivering new auto parts and collecting used parts as needed.
• Comply with drug and alcohol testing requirements of 49 CFR Part
  40.
• Operate vehicle in compliance with all state and federal safety and administrative requirements.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and report all accidents to a manager or supervisor immediately.
• Load, secure, and deliver automobile parts (engines, transmissions, small parts, etc.) to customers.
• Drive to customer locations, off-load and reload truck; use a pallet jack or hand truck for loading.
• Unload vehicle and stack returned product to facilitate warehouse efficiency.
• Lift up to 50lbs. without assistance and up to 100lbs. with assistance.
• Use scanner or print pad to scan/log returned goods and track deliveries and returns.
• Check in finished goods before loading vehicle.
• Work within weather-related extremes.
• Perform daily DOT safety check/inspection on vehicle and report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Be willing to have overnight stays if required by route.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 2+ years of warehouse driver experience.
• Medical certification by a DOT medical examiner for fitness.
• Valid Chauffeur License.
• Ability to pass a DOT application process and physical.
• Pallet jack/forklift certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
