Job Requirements and Duties

Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record that meets company standards, as well as access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery. Additionally, you should have navigation skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Orientation and on‑the‑job training will be provided.

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders, with motor coordination between eyes and hands to perform rapid precise movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas.
• Sudden changes in temperature inside the work area and while outside.
• Fumes from food odors.
• Exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Compacted quarters including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving, and couponing.

• Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Far vision and night vision for driving.
• The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgements and decisions.

• Standing
  :
  Most tasks are performed from a standing position on ceramic tile or linoleum surfaces. Work surfaces are between 36" and 48".
• Walking
  :
  Short distances for short durations. Delivery personnel must travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to customers.
• Sitting
  :
  Paperwork is normally completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting
  :
  Bulk product deliveries are unloaded using a hand truck. Deliveries may include cases weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Carrying
  :
  Large cans weighing 3 lbs 7 oz, cases of ingredients, pizza sauce, and trays of dough ranging from 12 lbs per tray.
• Pushing
  :
  Moving trays on dollies—force up to 7.5 lbs to push.
• Climbing
  :
  Occasionally navigate stairs or ladders; delivery may require five or more flights of stairs.
• Stooping/Bending
  :
  Forward bending at the waist for pizza assembly; approximately 30–45 seconds at a time repeatedly.
• Crouching/Squatting
  :
  Occasional tasks for stocking shelves and cleaning low areas.
• Reaching
  :
  Up, down, and forward reaching, including above 72" occasionally.
• Driving
  :
  Deliver pizzas within a designated area, making several deliveries per shift.

• Pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.

• Deliver product by car to customer’s door.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
