Position SummaryThe Warehouse Associate – Receiving Representative is responsible for efficiently unloading, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments. This role ensures all received goods match order specifications and maintains accurate inventory records. The Receiving Representative works closely with warehouse and inventory teams to uphold quality control standards and streamline warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities- Unloads, inspects, and verifies incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders
- Ensures all received items are damage-free and meet quality standards
- Accurately records and updates inventory in the warehouse management system
- Labels and organizes received goods in designated storage locations
- Communicates discrepancies, damages, or missing items to the Warehouse Supervisor or Inventory Control team
- Assists with stocking shelves and maintaining warehouse organization
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Adheres to all company safety protocols and maintains a clean work environment
- Assists in cycle counting and inventory audits
- Performs additional warehouse duties as assigned by management

- GED or High School Diploma is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required
- Previous scan gun experience is required
- Two years’ previous experience in a distribution setting is preferred
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 is preferred
- Previous experience with an ERP System is preferred
- Previous experience with WMS Systems is preferred
- Previous knowledge of Fed Ex and/or UPS shipping is preferred
- Forklift certification is preferred
- Hazmat/dangerous good certification is preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification is preferred
- Regularly required to sit for long periods of time
- Use hands and fingers on a regular basis
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability for eyes to quickly adjust and focus
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
