Position

Program & Grants Coordinator in a fast-paced, philanthropic environment. The role provides critical support to the consulting team and manages a portfolio of grants. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nonprofit work, a background in grantmaking, and strong administrative skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, document preparation, answering calls, and scheduling meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and coordinating daily schedules, including arranging meetings and conference calls for the consulting team.
  • Greeting visitors professionally and directing them appropriately.
  • Answering and directing incoming calls, ensuring inquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Handling mail distribution and coordinating courier services.
  • Efficiently managing calendars for multiple team members, ensuring appointments and deadlines are met.
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies, ensuring smooth operation of the office.
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations, ensuring materials are accurate and professional.
  • Utilizing knowledge of grants and grantmaking to assist in the preparation of grant applications and management of grant funds.
  • Leveraging experience in the nonprofit sector to support philanthropic efforts.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a consulting or business environment.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with professional interaction capabilities with a diverse group of clients and staff.
  • Proficiency in scheduling and calendar management.
  • Experience with grantmaking and grant management, preferably within a nonprofit context.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Proactive, able to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for philanthropy and understanding of the nonprofit sector.
