We are seeking a full-time entry-level Receptionist, Monday Friday from 8 a.m.
- 4:30 pm, to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this role, you will manage front desk and office operations, provide exceptional customer service, and support office management functions. The ideal candidate is highly dependable, organized, tech-savvy, and possesses excellent communication skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Duties
- Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and relay messages accurately and promptly, including recording after-hours and weekend messages
- Maintain a tidy and professional front desk area, including filing, data entry, and document handling
- Assist with calendar management for scheduling and completing fingerprinting
- Support office management tasks such as organizing supplies and distributing paychecks, and scheduling
- Utilize software like Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel to update data, handle various correspondence, and create project materials
- Handle clerical duties including filing, copying, scanning, and maintaining records with close attention to detail
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries professionally via phone or email
- Manage all incoming mail accordingly
Qualifications
- Experience in office administration or front desk roles with strong clerical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and data entry procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Previous experience in the Developmental Disabilities field is an asset, but not required
- Exceptional customer service skills coupled with courteous phone etiquette

Required qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 18 years or older
- At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
- Valid auto liability insurance
- Background check
- Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Review
- Drug screening
- Speaks English
- Reads English
- Available to work: weekdays
Preferred qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in the customer service industry
- Own a personal vehicle
- Has (or willing to open) a checking account for direct deposit
