Berk Enterprises is a supplier of food service disposables located in Northeast Ohio has an opening for a seasoned Customer Service Representative. The ideal candidate needs to have a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience including working with a computer software to enter orders and credits. Experience with EDI orders encouraged.

• Analyze and enter customer orders received via email, phone, and fax into company software.
• Manage administrative functions including incoming calls, email inquiries, issue resolution, order expediting, information requests, and sales reporting.
• Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Proactively communicate with customers regarding upcoming needs, backorders, product availability, order status updates, and anticipated changes.
• Maintain accurate customer profiles and account information within company systems.
• Generate reports and provide analysis related to customer accounts and sales activities.
• Work cross functionally with the sales team and logistics team with order processing, sample requests, inventory questions, and customer inquiries.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to achieve and exceed established performance goals.
• Conduct outbound sales and follow-up calls to current and prospective customers as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and timely communication.
