• Minimum five years of successful teaching experience.
• Current valid teaching license.
• Knowledge of educational technologies, including software applications and hardware for technology‑enhanced instruction.
• Understanding of interdisciplinary STEM education principles.
• Leadership experience within a building or district.
• Sound professional judgement, good attendance, and a consistently positive attitude toward students, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email correspondence.

• Teaching certifications or endorsements in instructional technology and computer science.
• Knowledge of Ohio Learning Standards for Technology and Computer Science.
• Ability to identify and resolve technology‑related issues with hardware, software, instructional applications, and user accounts.
• Coursework toward an Ohio middle school CTE validation certificate.

• Work under the direction of the assigned Campus Leader, Supervisor of Technology, and Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
• Design and implement lessons aligned to the district’s technology curriculum and Ohio Learning Standards for Technology and Computer Science for the appropriate assigned grade levels.
• Maintain a functional learning environment by addressing and repairing classroom equipment, minimizing disruptions to instruction.
• Collaborate with other technology teachers on lesson design, instructional resources, troubleshooting methods, and instructional strategies to enhance learning experiences.
• Organize instructional resources digitally for student access.
• Establish a learning environment that promotes critical thinking and collaboration through effective classroom procedures.
• Maintain and assess equipment inventories for assigned courses.
• Identify needed supply materials for assigned courses and request supplies in writing to the Supervisor of Technology.
• Attend and actively participate in professional development to stay current with technological advancements.
• Abide by the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of The Warren City School District Board of Education.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the building Campus Leader, Supervisor of Technology, or Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
