• Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience
• Current valid teaching license
• Appropriate knowledge of various educational technologies, including software applications and hardware used to deliver technology‑enhanced instruction
• Appropriate knowledge and understanding of the interdisciplinary principles of STEM Education
• Successful experience in leadership capacity within assigned building or district
• Evidence of sound professional judgement, good attendance and a consistently positive attitude toward students, families and colleagues
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and email correspondence

• Teaching certifications and/or endorsements in instructional technology and computer science
• Appropriate knowledge of Ohio's Learning Standards for Technology and Computer Science
• Ability to identify and resolve technology‑related issues with computer hardware, software, instructional applications and user accounts
• Currently has or completed coursework to obtain Ohio's middle school CTE validation certificate

• Work under the direction of the assigned Campus Leader, Supervisor of Technology, and the Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction
• Design and implement lessons aligned to the District's Technology Curriculum, Ohio's Learning Standards for Technology, and Ohio's Learning Standards for Computer Science for assigned grade levels
• Maintain a functional and efficient learning environment by addressing and repairing classroom equipment as needed
• Collaborate with other technology teachers on lesson design, instructional resources, troubleshooting methods, and instructional strategies to assess and improve student learning experiences
• Organize instructional resources digitally for student access
• Establish a learning environment that promotes critical thinking and collaboration by implementing effective classroom procedures that enhance engagement while maintaining structure and support
• Maintain and assess equipment inventories for assigned courses
• Identify needed supply materials, drafting written requests to the Supervisor of Technology
• Attend and actively participate in professional development recommended by the Executive Director of Curriculum and the Supervisor of Technology
• Abide by the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Warren City School District Board of Education
• Perform other duties as assigned by the building Campus Leader, the Supervisor of Technology, and the Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction
