Position:
Long-Term Substitute Teacher – Grade 5 English Language Arts (ELA)

Assignment Duration: 2026–2027 School Year

Location:

Howland Intermediate School

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio teaching license required.
• Preferred licensure: K–8, 1–8, K–5, Early Childhood Generalist (Grades 4–5), or English Language Arts (Grades 4–9).
• Candidates holding Ohio licensure in English (Grades 7–12), English Language Arts (Grades 7–12), Intervention Specialist (K–12), or Reading (K–12) will also be considered.

Salary:

• Per Board-approved substitute pay schedule for Days 1–60.
• Beginning on Day 61, compensation will increase to the Step 0 teacher per diem rate for the remainder of the assignment.
