Job DescriptionQualification:
- Must hold a current valid Ohio Teaching Certificate or License
- Background knowledge of how to implement an IEP
- Successful BCII and FBI background check
Duties:
- Provide one on one or small group education services to students
- Maintain effective communication with families and the home school
- Prepare work for students
- Assist students with academic work
- Make accommodations and modifications for students work
- Work with the Special Education Supervisor/Principal/teachers at the building to carryout services addressed in the IEP
- Meet students in their home, library,mutually decided location, or virtually
- Pick up and deliver students' work to their appropriate buildings
- Maintain the child's safety at the predetermined location for instruction.
- Never leave a child unsupervised, make arrangements with parents only, not students
- Abide by all State and Federal Guidelines for all students
- Abide by the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Warren City School District Board of Education
- Performs any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director of Special Education, Building Principal or his/her designee
Salary: $31.87 per an hour
