Job Type: Per Diem (PRN)
Occupational Therapy Assistant
Responsibilities- Implements patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary Occupational Therapist
- Work with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement programs consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient
- Acts as an assistant to the Occupational Therapist when the Occupational Therapist is performing tests, evaluations, and complex procedures
- Instructs patients, families and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the occupational therapy treatment program under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
- Valid license to practice physical therapy
- Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred
- Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking skills, basic math skills
- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude
