Aboutthe Role
As a Respiratory Therapist at Warren Nursing & Rehab, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our skilled nursing facility. Your duties will include:
Conducting respiratory therapy treatments, such as oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and breathing exercises
Monitoring patients' vital signs and assessing their respiratory status
Developing and implementing individualized respiratory care plans
Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for our patients
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress
Provide respiratory therapy treatments to patients with chronic respiratory conditions, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma
Conduct pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and spirometry to diagnose and monitor respiratory conditions
Participate in rounds and interdisciplinary team conferences to discuss patient care and treatment plans
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress
Provide education and training to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management
