Fresenius Medical Care - 4941 Enterprise Blvd NW - Responsibilities:
Provide patient care under direct supervision of the Hemodialysis Registered Nurse in the dialysis suite.;
Report and document incidents, information, complaints, or problems to the RN.;
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.;
Set up and prime dialysis equipment as directed by the Fresenius Nurse after competency.;
Ensure dialysis machines are set up, tested, and safe for treatment.;
Welcome patients and check on their well-being, reporting observations to the RN.;
Obtain pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight and report unusual findings.;
Document patient treatment information accurately in EMS/ACES.;
Calculate and enter dialysis machine programming for UF goal, treatment time, Na modeling, and UF modeling.;
Ensure safety alarms are enabled and NVL is maintained.;
Collect and label specimens and deliver to laboratory per policy.;
Evaluate intradialytic problems and intervene as prescribed by physician or RN.;
Monitor patient response to dialysis and report unusual findings.;
Assess patient prior to termination of venous access and apply dressings.;
Review and comply with Code of Business Conduct and applicable policies.;
Assist with special projects as assigned by supervisor or supervising RN.;
