Job Summary:

At Warren Nursing & Rehab, our mission is to empower individuals through individualized rehabilitation, provide a safe and secure environment, and offer therapeutic activities and cognitive management tailored to meet each person's unique needs. We are seeking an experienced Activity Director to join our team at our Warren, Ohio location. As an Activity Director, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a variety of activities designed to promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

• Develop and implement an activity program that addresses the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to identify and address the social, emotional, and physical needs of our residents
• Plan, organize, and lead activities such as recreational programs, games, and events
• Recruit and supervise volunteers and assist with scheduling
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and vendors to secure resources and services for our residents
• Maintain accurate records and reports of activities and resident participation
• Participate in staff development and in-service training

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in an activity or therapy setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
