As a Respiratory Therapist at Washington Square Nursing & Rehab, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents with respiratory conditions and needs. Located in the heart of Warren's historic district, our 83-bed skilled nursing facility is committed to providing a supportive and resident-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, treat, and manage residents with respiratory conditions and needs
- Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and chest physiotherapy
- Monitor ventilator-dependent residents and adjust settings as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow care protocols
- Educate staff, residents, and families on respiratory care and safety
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility policies
- Current Ohio Respiratory Therapist license
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
- CRT or RRT credential through NBRC
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Full Time, Part Time, or PRN status available
