Job Summary:
This position is responsible for administering a variety of human resources functions, including recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, training and development, employee records management and reporting.
All job positions at 7 17 Credit Union may be assigned further duties with or without notice, verbally or in writing. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
Primary Duties:
Recruitment/Onboarding Support full-cycle recruitment for both high-volume and professional/leadership-level positions, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, and selection
Utilize multiple sourcing channels (job boards, social media, community outreach, employee referrals) to build diverse candidate pipelines
Manage internal bidding and posting processes in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreement requirements
Ensure a positive and efficient candidate experience from application through hire Represent the organization at career fairs, community events, and recruiting initiatives
Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programsHRIS, Reporting & Data Analytics Maintain accurate recruitment and employee data within HRISDevelop, analyze, and distribute HR metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, applicant flow, hiring trends) to support decision-making
Produce regular reports for leadership, ensuring accuracy of employee movement and workforce data Monitor recruiting effectiveness and recommend data-driven improvement.
Compensation and Job Administration Assist with job description development and maintenance.
Participate in job evaluation and classification activities.
Assist with performance review processes
Employee Relations and HR Support Serve as a resource to employees and supervisors regarding HR policies, practices, and procedures.
Maintain employee records and ensure proper documentation throughout the employee lifecycle
Assist in resolving employee relations concerns.
Support performance management, coaching, corrective action, and employee engagement initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes for efficiency, consistency, and candidate/employee experience.
Partner with HR leadership on special projects and initiatives impacting the broader workforce

Must keep employee information, member transactions and all other Credit Union business in strictest confidence.
Travel Demands:
Must be able to travel regionally as needed
Prerequisite
Education:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
Prerequisite
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience required
Demonstrated experience supporting multiple HR functions (e.g., recruitment, employee relations, compliance, reporting, payroll, benefits)
Experience managing high-volume recruiting and/or recruiting for professional, technical, or leadership-level roles
Experience working in a union environment preferred
Other Prerequisite Requirements of the position:
Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., applicant tracking systems, HR databases)
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and generate actionable insights
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
1. HR Functional Expertise Knowledge of full-cycle recruiting practices, including workforce planning, sourcing strategies, and candidate evaluation
Understanding of core HR functions including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration
Ability to support both transactional and strategic HR initiatives
2. HR Technology & Data Analytics Proficient in HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and reporting tools
Ability to analyze HR metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, turnover, applicant flow) to identify trends and recommend improvements
Maintains accurate data and leverages systems to improve efficiency and compliance
3. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence Identifies opportunities to streamline HR and recruitment processes
