System Operation Engineer

Salary Range: 80,000. USD

The Role & Key Responsibilities

THE ROLE

To support our growing business,activities and needs, we are recruiting a talented System Operation Engineer tojoin our Global Operations Team located in Warren, New Jersey. The System Engineer will actively contribute to maintain, operate, and monitor the existing corporateinfrastructure as well as to its future design and implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Some of the responsibilities will include:
  • Managing and monitoring existing systems and infrastructure
  • Installing,configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools
  • Ensuring the integrity and high availability of our infrastructure (Disaster Recovery,Business Continuity)
  • Performingtechnical support
  • Implementing and supporting disaster recovery / business continuity solutions
  • Maintainingsystem documentation to include system reviews and recommendations
  • Identifying potential issues and proactively proposing solutions and improvements
  • Securingsystems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access
  • Troubleshooting and fault finding if issues arise
  • Fulfillingad hoc tasks and projects as required by the Company
  • Contributing to the definition and implementation of project best practices and quality processes
  • Participation in the on-call and shifts rotation
HIERARCHICAL REPORTING

Hierarchically and functionally reports to the local Operation Team Leader.

LOCATION
  • Full Time, Hybrid Position to be filled in Warren, NJ
  • Candidate MUST be able to reliably commute daily
  • Availability for travel may be required after gaining sufficient knowledge

Qualifications and Experience

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Extensive experience within information security/technology sector
  • Extensive experience working in a Microsoft Systems Engineering role (Windows Server 2019, 2022, 2025)
  • Scripting knowledge for automation (Batch, Powershell and/or Ansible Automation Platform)
  • Experience with Active Directory design, architecture, and management for enterprise-scale deployments
  • Knowledge of enterprise grade PKI and CA hierarchy
  • Expertise in deploying and maintaining business critical applications and solutions
  • Proven experience in incident management, service request management and troubleshooting using root cause analysis (RCA) techniques
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Outstanding English languages written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Azure
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience of using ticketing systems and use of monitoring and management tools
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions around compute, storage, and network (Azure)
  • Experience with SSO services
  • Experience with LDAP, SAML, Radius and Kerberos
  • Extensive Experience with Active Directory design, architecture, and management for enterprise-scale deployments and enterprise grade PKI and CA hierarchy
  • Experience with Cloud Backup and Replication solutions (ASR)
  • MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) or equivalent certifications
  • ITIL certification
