Warehouse General Manager

We are immediately hiring a General Manager – Distribution in Warren, OH for our Supply Chain Solutions division.

Pay Type:

Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month. Annual Salary Pay: $110,000–$120,000 based on experience. Annual Bonus Incentive:
Up to 20% or more of salary per year.

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday day shift. Must be available to work other shifts as needed.

You will manage overall financial, operational and employee aspects of multiple accounts. You are responsible for profitable retention and growth of business within your span of control and ensuring financial, employee, safety and customer satisfaction goals are met.

• Goal setting, skills assessment, IDPs, career development, performance evaluation, ongoing employee feedback, disciplinary actions, warning documentation, Performance Improvement Plans for CLS, and situations that need elevation to the director.
• Developing direct and indirect reports, providing HR skills training, conducting quality personnel selection, and maintaining staffing levels.
• Creating location processes, maintaining SCLM, and cross‑training CLS and CLC.
• Customer satisfaction and problem resolution, reviewing KPI tracking and improvement, ensuring staff training in Transportation/Distribution Management.
• Improving employee retention, reducing accidents, reviewing and reducing unnecessary overtime, following up on collision/safety reporting, and first‑report injury reporting with Labor Manager.
• Recommending location process initiation and/or improvement, assigning responsibility to CLC/CLS, and conducting ongoing self‑audits of location processes and individual accountabilities.
• SOX invoice reconciliation to the FFM designee, SOX revenue recognition preparation, and invoicing to customers.

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain or an additional two (2) years of relevant work experience required.
• Master's degree in related field preferred.
• Five (5) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required.
• Five (5) years or more managing, leading and developing direct reports preferred.
• Five (5) years or more managing large multi‑level teams required.
• Three (3) years or more demonstrated experience in developing and implementing complete logistics solutions and project management skills required.
• Three (3) years or more prior experience in leading teams in a LEAN work environment preferred.
• Three (3) years or more Profit & Loss responsibility preferred.
• One (1) year or more customer interaction required.
• One (1) year or more managing customer KPIs required.
• Some sales experience preferred.
• Some multi‑client experience preferred.
