Header Operator
Location: Girard, OH
Pay: $17.00+/hour (Based on Experience)
Shift: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Shift may change to 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM based on production needs.*
Mancan Staffing is seeking an experienced Header Operator for a manufacturing company in Girard, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and experience operating and setting up manufacturing equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a variety of Cold Heading Machines used to manufacture formed products to customer specifications.
- Operate multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining production efficiency.
- Perform minor tooling adjustments and troubleshoot machine setup issues.
- Identify nonconforming products and take appropriate corrective action.
- Complete all required production reports and SPC documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate production progress and any work-related issues with the Floor Manager.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
- Proven basic math skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing production schedules and customer demands.
- Ability to perform regular heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Team player who can also work independently.
- Forklift experience is preferred or the ability to become certified.
- Monday–Friday
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- May switch to 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM based on production needs.
- Starting at $17.00/hour and up
