What you’ll do
  • Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; providing guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology; assisting members with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving member issues and concerns; and promoting the company's products and services.
  • Assists management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area; assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and ensuring compliance with policies. Supports the Open Door Policy and participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.
  • Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors; organizes and maintains the sales floor using equipment, merchandising and completing required documentation.
  • Maintains facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting and hazardous material handling procedures, adhering to steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations.
  • Ensures proper merchandise presentation by handling returns, zoning the area, stocking, arranging displays, signing and pricing merchandise, identifying shrink and damage, and securing fragile items.
  • Monitors food and merchandise quality, ensuring product rotation, code dating, recalls, sanitation standards, and proper stocking and cleaning.
  • Leads and participates in teams by sharing resources, determining customer needs, coordinating assignments, and providing support for timelines and quality.
  • Oversees picking and staging of club pickup orders, ensuring products are selected and staged according to policy.
  • Develops, communicates, and implements processes to meet business needs through collaboration, information analysis, progress monitoring, and improvement.
  • Demonstrates compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity, guiding others and assisting management in correcting issues.
