Overview

Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. The role focuses on monitoring security systems, detecting threats, and responding quickly in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and more. The position is based in Warren, OH.

• Schedule:
  • Shift 1:
    Full‑time, Monday–Wednesday, 6 a.m.–8 p.m.
  • Shift 2:
    Part‑time, Thursday–Friday, 6 a.m.–8 p.m.
• Competitive hourly wage: $17.75 / hr (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees)

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report‑writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Prior Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is preferred
• Possess a state license if required
