Join a dynamic team as a Journeyman Electrician supporting industrial and commercial electrical systems in Warren, Ohio. This on‑site role offers the opportunity to work on electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs within a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining facility electrical distribution systems, electronics, automation, and lighting, adhering to all safety and code standards. This role provides a pathway from contract to permanent employment for qualified professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Install, connect, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, conduit, and devices for lighting, machinery, and building equipment.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus including transformers, motors, MCC panels, variable frequency drives, and lighting fixtures.
- Maintain electrical distribution equipment, including 277/480 VAC, 120/208 VAC, and 120/240 VAC systems.
- Replace electronic components such as printed circuit boards, relays, and control switches.
- Maintain and repair building lighting, emergency lighting, outlets, and exterior lighting controls.
- Plan wiring layouts and install electrical systems in compliance with NEC and local codes.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical utilities and equipment.
- Complete accurate documentation and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
Completion of an approved Apprenticeship Program. - Minimum of 4 years of relevant electrical work experience.
- Valid driver’s license and applicable electrical certifications/licenses.
- Ability to read and interpret safety instructions, manuals, and technical documents.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of motor controls, low voltage, fire alarm, and voice/data systems.
- Ability to perform physical work in an industrial environment, maintaining safety and quality standards.
