Maintenance Technician
Location: Warren, OH
Onsite Flexibility: Onsite
Contract Details- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 5 months (extension possible; conversion to permanent employment potential)
- Pay Rate: $25.00–$26.00 / Hour (USD)

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (initial training schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) - Overtime: Overtime applicable

As a Maintenance Technician
, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
- Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
- Be assigned certain floors to fill work orders including basic plumbing, basic electric, painting/patching, general maintenance, mechanical equipment, and boilers/chillers.

- Hospital experience
- Any applicable licensing or certifications (none required, but a plus)
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- 4–5 years of relevant maintenance experience
- 1–2 years of job-related experience (per role requirements; combination of experience and education considered in lieu of diploma)
- Candidate will be working in a hospital setting
- Client-facing role with interactions with patients
- Candidate will work with other team members and independently
- Must meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
