Equipment Maintenance Technician

AVI Food systems is looking for an energetic and optimistic Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team! This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing vending and merchandising equipment throughout a designated service area.

• Install new vending and merchandising equipment at client locations within a designated service area
• Train and educate clients on the proper use and operation of new equipment
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on vending and merchandising equipment
• Remove outdated, damaged, or unused equipment
• Test equipment to ensure proper operation and functionality
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to minimize equipment issues and downtime
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, customers, and team members
• Identify and order parts needed to complete repairs and maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of equipment repairs, service, and maintenance
• Travel throughout the designated service area as needed

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Previous experience repairing automated vending, merchandising equipment, or small appliances is preferred
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Ability to diagnose problems, troubleshoot equipment, and perform appropriate repairs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while providing exceptional customer service
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record;
  CDL is not required
• Ability to lift, move, and position heavy equipment when necessary
