Shift Worker, Less Than 20 Hours/Week
$14.00/Hour
Schedule:
Variable schedule;
Requires weekday, evening and weekend hours
Provides assistance with safe exchange and supervised visits for families.
Assists in the safe exchange of children from custodial parent to non-custodial parent for scheduled/court ordered, overnight and weekend visits, and safe return exchanges.
Monitors visits between children and parents/family members ensuring a positive, safe environment; provides suggestions for a positive visit as appropriate; documents details of each visit per program procedure.
Conducts orientations for new clients; schedules visits and/or exchanges.
Ensures program rules are followed by participants; maintains confidentiality.
Participates in team planning, case reviews, agency training and program goal achievement when necessary.
Assists in maintaining a positive program image in the community.
Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements and educational/certification/registry requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
The ability to obtain a solid understanding of the dynamics of family functioning, parenting and family violence.
Strong ability to communicate: read, write, listen and speak clearly.
Valid Ohio Driver's License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability.
Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal background check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation).
Bachelors Degree/Associate Degree in social work, counseling or related field preferred or related experience working with victims preferred.
One year experience in the field of domestic violence and/or family/crisis intervention preferred.
