Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Warren, OH — offering weekly pay and a career you can feel good about.

Pay and Schedule
  • Hourly Pay: $20.25 per hour
  • Schedule:

    Sunday - Tuesday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM & Wednesday 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Job Overview

Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well‑run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. This role involves handling paper products using clamp attachment forklifts.

Responsibilities
  • Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
  • Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
  • Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induct, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
  • Manage day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during the core shift hour of production.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
  • Valid forklift operator's license certified.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a diverse work environment.
  • Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, with a good attendance record.
  • Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and work using health and safety methods.
  • Must be available for flexible shifts.
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
