Assistant Registrar

This position provides support for all registrar functions.
The successful candidate will be exceptionally organized, and have a firm understanding of data management, analysis, and presentation. They will possess a strong work ethic, be highly collaborative, manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, and hold the highest level of professionalism and discretion. Knowledge of student information systems and learning management systems used in higher education is preferable.
Essential functions include assisting the Registrar with processes within the College's Student Information System (SIS) to include course registration functions, grading, withdrawals, and transcript evaluations; assisting the Registrar in the maintenance of degree audits including all curriculum changes; completing all incoming transcript requests; and assisting the Registrar in completing graduation audits. Additional duties include assessing and confirming the validity of transcripts received from outside educational entities, organizing and completing transcript evaluations, processing transfer credits and substitution waivers, managing clearance collection for academic students, creating and mailing student IDs for all academic and workforce development students, completing enrollment and education verification requests, creating and mailing diplomas, participating on the Transfer Evaluation Team, participating on the Commencement Committee, active professional development on issues relating to registrar functions, attending College meetings and serving on College committees as assigned, assisting the Registrar with daily operations of the Office and assuming administrative responsibilities in the absence of the Registrar, and other duties as assigned by the Registrar.
