Teaching MAA Medical Instructor

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Pro Train is currently recruiting for an experienced in-classroom instructor with experience teaching a Medical Administrative Assistant course.

Candidates must have experience teaching in a classroom or/and in a synchronous environment, as well as have a minimum of 2 years as a Medical Administrative Assistant or related discipline.

This is a part time; contracted teaching position to begin immediately. Future classes will be available to the right candidate.

Course Day/Time:
Tuesday and Thursday's in the evening hours (6-9 pm EST)

  • Introduction to Medical Assisting
  • Administrative Medical Assisting
  • Health Information in the Medical Office
  • Billing and Coding Procedures
  • Financial and Practice Management
  • Assisting with Medical Specialties
  • Career Development

• Minimum 2-5 years teaching experience
  • Teaching certification preferred
• Minimum 2years in related field of study
• Must adhere to weekly class schedule
