JOB SUMMARY

Learn and develop trade skills. Participates in the evaluation of molds and tooling to support the company objectives and strategies and meet or exceed internal and regulatory Quality Standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Mold Maintenance - Responsible to change over and maintain plastic injection, reheat stretch and extrusion blow molds to ensure products meet internal and regulatory Quality Standards, and molds that promote a high level of manufacturing efficiency. Duties may include:

Safely maintain production equipment and meet the department's scheduled preventive maintenance obligations while assisting with configuration and set-up of production molds.
Proper operation of overhead crane and ability to operate a forklift is required.

Needs to be able to perform Pm's on injection molding machines and screw pulls in a timely manner.
Needs to be able to trouble shoot any equipment in molding, such as Injection machines Mold maters controller Baggers, robot, ETC.
Be able to perform PM's on the robots in molding.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Desired knowledge basic machining and / or electrical knowledge and skills and able to read blueprints.

Physical Requirements:

May be required to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
May be required to engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
