Business Analyst

This position is fully onsite at our Warren, RI corporate office.

Blount Fine Foods is seeking a proactive and analytical Business Analyst to join our Digital Portfolio team. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers, business and technology teams from the initial discovery phase through to the operational transition of large digital transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for generating key business analysis artifacts – such as RFIs, Market Analysis, Gap Analysis, Requirements Documentation – and leading change management activities including communication, training and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

• Discovery & Research:
  • Generate key business analysis artifacts including RFIs, market analysis, feasibility analysis and vendor evaluations.
• Business Process Analysis & Documentation:
  • Analyze and document current business processes across food manufacturing operations, supply chain, corporate office and other supporting business entities.
  • Create detailed process maps, workflow diagrams and supporting documentation.
• Requirements Gathering & Solution Recommendation:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business, technical and transition requirements.
  • Recommend processes and technology improvements to address identified gaps.
• Testing & Implementation Quality Assurance:
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate changes and ensure quality outcomes during the implementation phase of larger digital transformation projects.
• Change Management & Training:
  • Support change management activities during project lifecycle of large digital transformation projects, including communication, training needs assessment, and development of training materials.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input, present findings and drive consensus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in manufacturing, supply chain or food industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders
• Project management experience;
  Agile / Scrum experience a plus
• Certifications such as CCBA and/or Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt are preferred
