Position OverviewAmbilabs is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional research and development efforts. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong scientific background who has successfully guided products from development through commercialization and thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, project management skills, and customer-facing experience, with the ability to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage R&D projects from concept through development, validation, and commercialization
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, scientific research, manufacturing, and external partners
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
- Interface directly with customers to understand requirements and support product deployment
- Oversee product testing, validation, and documentation processes
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and quality requirements
- Provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Travel to customer and partner sites as needed to support project execution
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field)
- Proven experience managing technical or R&D projects
- Demonstrated success bringing products from development through commercialization
- Strong understanding of scientific instrumentation or environmental sensing technologies
- Experience with particulate measurement or aerosol science preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as required
