Overview

Senior Accountant - Warren, RI - Onsite 4x per week. Our client is a publicly traded company, seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role is a key contributor to corporate accounting, financial reporting, treasury operations, and corporate insurance management. This role follows a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite and 1 day remote).

• Analyze expenses and manage related accruals across general ledger accounts.
• Support quarterly and annual external reporting, including preparation of filings and supporting schedules.
• Own critical aspects of the month-end close, including journal entries, complex account reconciliations, and detailed GL analysis.
• Partner with internal and external auditors to support audits, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with SOX and U.S. GAAP.
• Manage corporate insurance programs, including renewals, claims coordination, and risk mitigation activities.
• Support global treasury operations through cash forecasting, banking administration, and maintenance of compliance documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
