School Van Driver – Part Time – Warren, RI

We are looking for reliable, caring, and safe Part Time School Van Drivers to serve the community of Warren, RI.

• Perform morning pickup and afternoon drop‑off of students.
• Provide additional field trip or special event transportation as scheduled.
• Supervise boarding and unloading at stops; assist with seatbelt fastening and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and prevent distractions among students.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires, and emergency exits.
• Report any mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch regarding student behavior or delays.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.

• Minimum age 21 years.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least three years.
• Preferred:
  Class B license, prior experience driving passenger vehicles (e.g., ride‑share, taxi, or school bus).
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children.
• Ability to adhere to a part‑time schedule with weekdays only and no nights, weekends, holidays, or summer work required.

• Hourly rate: $22.08 per hour.
• Training hourly rate: $16.00 per hour.
• Dependent on experience and qualifications.
