The Family Support Division (FSD), Child Support Office is seeking candidates for a Benefit Program Technician position.
Location:
Johnson County/Warrensburg Child Support Office, 505 N Ridgeview, Warrensburg, MO.
As a Benefit Program Technician, you will serve Missouri citizens by assessing their child support needs during phone calls, in‑person office visits, and online inquiries.
You may assist and guide them through services such as verifying paternity, establishing child support orders, and enforcing and/or modifying both administrative and judicial orders.
Training & ScheduleWe offer a six‑month in‑depth training program for all new employees with additional training as needed. This position has a consistent and structured work schedule while still allowing work‑home life balance.
Responsibilities- Assess child support needs during phone calls, in‑person office visits, and online inquiries.
- Assist and guide clients through services such as verifying paternity, establishing child support orders, and enforcing or modifying administrative and judicial orders.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate records.
- Use various computer programs simultaneously, with proficient typing skills and high accuracy.
- High school diploma and at least four years of customer service experience.
- Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree.
- Personable, compassionate, non‑judgmental, and supportive.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience working with several different computer programs simultaneously.
