The Building Administrators are responsible for the daily instruction of students. This role focuses on delivering quality instructional programs and completing teaching duties required by the district’s educational program.
Qualifications- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (exceptions related to certification).
- Active Missouri teaching certificate in the area of assignment.
- Successful completion of the Missouri Teacher Competency Exam, if applicable; other experience commensurate with assignment.
- The teacher causes students to acquire the knowledge and skills to gather, analyze, and apply information and ideas.
- The teacher causes students to acquire the knowledge and skills to communicate effectively within and beyond the classroom.
- The teacher causes students to acquire the knowledge and skills to recognize and solve problems.
- The teacher causes students to acquire the knowledge and skills to make decisions and act as responsible members of society.
- The teacher uses ongoing assessments to monitor the effectiveness of instruction.
- The teacher provides continuous feedback to students and families.
- The teacher assists students in developing self‑assessment skills.
- The teacher aligns the assessments with the goals, objectives, and instructional strategies of the district curriculum guides.
- The teacher uses assessment techniques appropriate to varied characteristics and developmental needs of students.

A standard teaching contract is 178 days; extended or part‑time contracts are prorated. Compensation follows the teacher salary schedule established annually by the Board of Education. All other employee benefits are according to the full‑time equivalent of employment for the individual.
EvaluationPerformance of this position will be evaluated according to board policies and the Warrensburg R‑VI School District adopted model of Performance-Based Teacher Evaluation.
