Qualifications:
Each faculty member shall hold a license as a Registered Professional Nurse and have earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Experience:
Current RN who has advanced education with clinical experience. You must have a BSN degree.
Primary Responsibilities:
To develop distinguished graduates by providing relevant career and technical education leading to gainful employment or continued education.
- The teacher causes students to acquire the knowledge and skills to gather, analyze, and apply information and ideas.
- The teacher causes students to acquire the knowledge and skills to communicate effectively within and beyond the classroom.
- The teacher causes students to acquire the knowledge and skills to recognize and solve problems.
- The teacher causes students to acquire the knowledge and skills to make decisions and act as responsible members of society.
The teacher uses various forms of assessment to monitor and manage student learning.
- The teacher uses various ongoing assessments to monitor the effectiveness of instruction.

- The teacher assists students in the development of self‑assessment skills.
- The teacher aligns the assessments with the goals, objectives, and instructional strategies of the district curriculum guides.

A standard teaching contract is 178 days; extended or part‑time contracts are prorated. Compensation is according to the teacher salary schedule as established annually by the Board of Education. All other employee benefits are according to the total FTE of employment for the individual.
EVALUATIONPerformance of this position will be evaluated according to board policies and the Warrensburg R‑VI School District adopted model of Performance Based Teacher Evaluation.
