Responsibilities
- Provide peer mentoring to students.
- Support project staff in outreach and intervention.
- Meet individually with students identified in Early-Alert.
- Maintain confidentiality and provide accurate documentation of students served, including any concerns or issues a student is experiencing that may impact academic performance.
- Outreach to struggling or non-responsive students.
- Upperclassmen status in teacher education, a minimum 2.75 GPA.
- Excellent communication, organization, time-management and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of effective academic skills.
- Capacity to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Prior peer mentoring or academic success coach experience preferred.
