Job Title
Work in the Office of Student Experience and Engagement under supervision of Vice President Dr. Shari Bax and the student coordinator for the American Democracy Project.
Examples of DutiesDuties Include:
- Giving short presentations on voter registration and providing students with guidance in getting registered to vote and/or requesting an absentee ballot.
- Be available and willing to work a variety of shifts or events, including late night/early morning hours.
- Be comfortable presenting to a group (Content and materials for presentations will be provided, and training will be required).
- Manage their time so as to ensure completion of assigned presentations.
- Promptly collect and return presentation materials and record outcomes.
- Communicate in a timely and effective manner with the student coordinator about availability to complete presentations.
Education:
- Cumulative GPA: 2.5 or above
- Must be a UCM student
Experience:
- Communication skills, including oral, written, and/or nonverbal
Working Hours and Days:
- M-F, 8 AM-5 PM; occasional nights and weekends
