Qualifications:

Degree:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (exceptions related to certification).
Certificate:
Missouri teaching certificate in area of assignment.

Experience:

Successful completion of Missouri Teacher Competency Exam, if applicable; other experience commensurate with assignment.

Primary Responsibilities To provide a quality instructional program for students; to complete teaching duties necessary to the district's educational program. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS PROGRAM OPERATION

The teacher causes students to actively participate and be successful in the learning process.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

A standard teaching contract is 178 days; extended or part time contracts are prorated. Compensation is according to the teacher salary schedule as established annually by the Board of Education. All other employee benefits are according to the total FTE of employment for the individual.
