Project Engineer, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

Job Description

Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 per year

Location: Warrensburg,MO, US

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment, ensuring systems are properly integrated and fully operational.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement root cause solutions for recurring issues.
• Conduct inspections, performance testing, and system diagnostics on industrial machinery and robotics.
• Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and lifecycle performance.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, technicians, and external vendors during installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation for installations, service activities, and equipment performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment installation, maintenance, or field service engineering.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery operation, and process engineering.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failures.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead installations and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with operations, technicians, and external vendors.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation for installations, service activities, and equipment performance.
• Experience with industrial machinery and robotics is a plus.
