Revenue Cycle Associate

Responsibilities

The Revenue Cycle Associate will support various functions within the Revenue Cycle, including assisting patients with payments and inquiries both in person and by phone, processing various payment types, and handling correspondence with vendors. Key duties also involve managing cash handling, bank deposits, processing refunds, and training staff on the Cerner Revenue Cycle system.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of a year Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience
• Team player
• Self‑motivated
• Ability to work within established policies, procedures and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Must be able to sit and stand for 8 to 10 hours a day
• Must be able to use standard office equipment, including telephone, computer keyboard, fax machine, and adding machine
• Must maintain near 100% accuracy under tight deadlines
• Requires manual dexterity, near vision, speech, and hearing
• Requires eye/hand coordination and color definition
• Occasional lifting or carrying up to 40 lbs
• Occasional walking on uneven surfaces
